What is Binibining Florida?

Binibining Florida, or “Miss Florida” in English, is a beauty pageant and essentially a fundraiser organized by the Association of Filipino Students at the University of South Florida. With the help and support of various community organizations and the participation of other Filipino Student Associations from across the state, Binibining Florida will ultimately raise funds which will be donated to an organization that physically assists the destitute people of the Philippines.

You can help us by donating benevolent funds which will aid our organization’s contestant as she competes for the title of “Binibining Florida” on the 16th of December this year. You can also contribute by purchasing pageant tickets or advertising space in the pageant’s souvenir program which will be given to many college students and professionals in our community.

All proceeds from this affair will benefit the Philippine Medical Society's upcoming medical mission in March 2007 where free medical assistance will be given to the disadvantaged people of Iloilo, Philippines.
